2026 Friends Creative Writing Contest

2026 Contest Update!

The 59th Annual Friends Creative Writing Contest will officially be open for submissions on February 18th, 2026. The contest is open to students in grades 1st-12th who live in the Littleton Public Schools District or attend a Littleton school. Deadline for submissions is April 6th, 2026.

About the Friends Creative Writing Contest

The Friends of the Littleton Library & Museum’s annual Creative Writing Contest is designed to promote and encourage excellence in creative writing for students in grades 1st-12th who live in the Littleton Public Schools District or attend a Littleton school. The contest is volunteer led and managed solely by the Friends of the Littleton Library & Museum.
