The Board revised the bylaws in 2021 and are now being offered to Friends’ members for review and comment leading up to the Annual Meeting, now to be held on Feb. 20, 2022. The Board incorporated the changes and finalized them in November. The revised Bylaws take effect January 1, 2022. In the pdf below, you can see the final revised bylaws. Proposed Changes to the Friends of the Library and Museum's Bylaws
Due to many changes brought on by COVID-19, the Friends Board is proposing the following changes to the Bylaws. (See the detailed bylaws changes in the pdf below.)
Vote Yes or No: The membership will vote on the election of the Directors and Officers electronically, by mail, or drop-in boxes (at the Library and Museum) during the 4th quarter of the fiscal year. Officers and Board members’ positions begin on January 1.
1. Vote Yes or No: The Annual Meeting will be held during the first quarter of the fiscal year.
2. Election of Officers and Board Directors. Due to personal priorities, our current President Lisa Hendry is no longer able to serve on the Friends Board.
