The Friends, library, and museum offer many ways to get involved. Whether you want to be a one-time volunteer, help with a specific event, or take on an ongoing role, we have opportunities to fit your needs.

Concerts & Programs
Help promote the Friends at sponsored events at the library and museum, including selling ice cream at summer concerts!
Creative Writing Contest
Creative Writing Contest volunteers help promote the contest, organize entries, work with volunteer judges, plan the award celebration, coordinate the bound books, and more.
Used Book Store
Used Book Store regular volunteers sort and price books, arrange shelves, sell books in store and online, and serve as greeters and cashiers. For special sales, volunteers greet customers, organize and restock shelves, and complete in-store sales.
Holiday's Evening
Holiday's Evening volunteers help with greeting, directions, ticket sales, will call, food service, wagon rides, and much more!
Harvest Festival
Harvest Festival volunteers help with games, ticket sales, pumpkin sales, hayrides, and more!
Craft Fair
Craft Fair volunteers help organize and promote the annual event. On the day of the fair, volunteers staff the information booth to help shoppers find everything they want and need.
